EvoBus (UK) Ltd, in collaboration with HB Dennis Leasing, has supplied the first of two new Mercedes-Benz Citaro hybrid buses to the Clayton Hotel – with the next handover planned for summer.

Fulfilling a fleet modernisation programme, the two new 12-metre single deck vehicles enter a fleet of 9 Mercedes-Benz buses to provide round-the-clock passenger transport between the Clayton Hotel Group’s Dublin location and Dublin Airport. The anticipated annual mileage of the Citaro hybrids is 70,000km per vehicle.

When compared with the outgoing vehicles, two Citaro Euro Vs, the Citaro hybrid model delivers a reduction in Well-To-Wheel Greenhouse Gas emissions – based on ZEMO Low Emission Bus test results.

Upon delivery of the first vehicle, Michelle Hanlon, Sales Manager at HB Dennis Leasing added:

Supplied on a leasing contract to the Clayton Hotel Group, the two new Mercedes-Benz Citaro hybrid buses will be maintained by nearby EvoBus (UK) Ltd service partner, M50 Commercials on a bespoke maintenance package geared to maximise vehicle uptime.
