You have the satisfaction of knowing that any part for a Mercedes-Benz heavy commercial vehicle purchased and fitted by a Mercedes-Benz Dealer or authorised repairer is covered by a 24 month unlimited km warranty. The warranty period commences on the date the part is sold.
The warranty covers the repair or replacement of manufacturing defects, but does not cover the cost of any related expenses or losses caused by the defect, such as the cost of rental vehicle, hotels, taxis, downtime, inconvenience or any loss of profit, loss of revenue or contingent, consequential or indirect losses. For the avoidance of doubt, the warranty does not cover damage, faults or defects arising out of goods not manufactured by Daimler Truck and Bus Australia Pacific Pty Ltd (DTBAuP) or a related body corporate (including but not limited to the goods and services of body builders and other suppliers). Damage, faults or defects in, or damage consequential to the use of such goods, are the responsibility of the third party manufacturer or supplier. Where possible, DTBAuP will supply contact details of any such manufacturer or supplier on request and it is the owner’s sole responsibility to make claims under such warranties. The warranty does not cover servicing, maintenance, tyres, consumables, normal wear and tear, the alignment of front and rear axles, wheel balancing and tyre rotation.
